Amy works in the CSU Career Center and is exceptionally knowledgeable about careers in STEM. She will share insights on how to present yourself professionally when seeking lab positions, from résumés and cover letters to interview preparation.
Lucas is a senior studying neuroscience with minors in biochemistry and biomedical sciences. After transferring from Front Range Community College to CSU, he has worked in six research labs, including a project at Stanford using optogenetics and EEG implants in mice. At CSU, he researches how sex hormones impact neuroinflammation with Dr. Kerrie Moreau and Dr. Tom LaRocca. He is an NIH UGSP Scholar and aspires to become a physician-scientist.
Victoria is a senior studying Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. They have worked in Dr. Arjun Khakhar’s synthetic biology lab for over two years, working on a project on yeast-based GPCR biosensors. Victoria is also the co-founder of STEMIRA and passionate about science communication, mentoring, and building supportive communities.
