The STEM Interdisciplinary Ram Alliance (SIRA) is a student organization dedicated to equipping students with the tools to lead, collaborate, advocate, and navigate complex systems within STEM and beyond.
Interdisciplinary diversity is essential for scientific and technological progress. Their mission is to connect students, faculty, and research staff across CSU’s colleges while fostering engagement in broader scientific, academic, and professional communities.
SIRA empowers students to drive innovation in STEM by building connections across disciplines. They aim to provide students with the skills and networks needed to excel academically and professionally while exploring what is possible when lead by their passion, and use their voices to influence meaningful change.
STEM_IRA was founded by Victoria Silva and Ellie Lutz in 2024 in efforts to connect students to each other and share resources.
