STEM Carnival - rocket launch

This video talks a little bit my experience with this project to build my first rocket ever! This shows what my finished rocket looks like ~ and its first launch!

Our Goal:

Our goal is to demonstrate the evolution of an interest in rocketry by assembling and launching a very simple rocket and one that takes a larger time investment to create.

Plastic Golf Club protector for rocket body

Corrugated project board for fins

Rocket motors (D12-3 or E9-6)

Rocket wadding which can be made from household materials

Parachute made of dollar store tablecloths and elastic cord

Plastic champagne class

PVC Fittings

150 grit Sand paper

Spray paint (color of your choosing)

Hot Glue Gun

Epoxy
