🧪 Official Seaquam Club & Initiative, empowering local elementary-level youth in the science disciplines 🧬
At STEMastery, we are a student-run nonprofit organization based at Seaquam Secondary, aiming to increase accessibility in the science disciplines for elementary students in the Delta School District.
We organize weekly science-centric workshops for students with a mentorship program. Our mentors provide one-on-one support to younger students while tailoring lessons to fit their learning styles. STEMastery also promotes Science Fair, allowing students to apply their knowledge practically. While, our curriculum producers and panelists provides teachers with resource packages consisting of lab activities, hands-on education materials, and lesson plans.
Our board members work collectively to establish aims and objectives for STEMastery while ensuring that our short-term along with long-term goals are met. Simultaneously, our committee leaders are involved in their respective committee's activities as they manage and lead their committee for approximately 7-10 weeks of the school year.
