About The Event

Science Through Art is a series of workshops that are conducted for empowering kids of all ages with knowledge and information about our human body and its importance through art and drawing. Science Through Art is focused on fostering STEM knowledge to students of all ages and different backgrounds using art and drawings to better understand and learn the topics of our human body in a much efficient way.

I have taught 20+ students during this event and helped equip them with deep knowledge regarding our human body and its importance along with drawing techniques while we draw those human essential organs. At the end of the events, the students were not only able to identify the importance of essential human organs such as the lungs, heart, brain, kidneys, and the eyes, but also draw them. Through guided drawing walkthrough and a presentation about the human organ, I was able to teach the students both drawing techniques along with the importance of each organ in the human body.

Every worksop had a different theme (specific organ in the human body). I started the workshops by making them draw the basic structure of the human organ and then convert it to something creative, for example the lungs to trees, this helped the students discover and improve creative thinking while also finding a different way to memorize complex topics like the functions of human organs. After the drawing section, I explained the importance of that organ in human body.
