Practical STEM Teaching Community Resources

Mission Statement

The aim of this site is to share practical teaching materials to support academics teaching Science and Engineering to undergraduate students in Ukraine (and other contexts where access to facilities is limited) in order to assist them in delivering online/remote teaching experiences in practical subjects.

Background

Practical skills are critical for learning in the Sciences and Engineering. During the pandemic academics from around the world developed ideas and resources to support learning and teaching in STEM where there was limited or no access to laboratories. The open resources on this site have been tried and tested by academics in the UK higher education sector, they are shared with academics in Ukraine and elsewhere, where there is restricted access to laboratory facilities, in the interests of international collaboration and support for our colleagues.

Please use your own academic judgement when selecting and using the resources in your teaching practice.
