Name: Puzzle Cube
Assignment: We worked to design build and document a 3D puzzle cube made out of 3/4 inch hardwood cubes.
What I learned: How to draw shapes isometrically and build simple objects on Autodesk inventor.
What I need to work on: Not over dimensioning my drawings.
Name: Isometric Sketches
Assignment: Create part files and drawings for different multiview drawings.
What I learned: How to stay calm when I cannot figure out how to do something.
What I need to work on: Making the holes in Inventor.
Name: CAD Modeling
Assignment: To use the various features in Inventor and see how to use them.
What I learned: How to use the various items in Inventor.
What I need to work on: Doing the directions I am instructed.
Name: Automata Box
Assignment: We were to build an automata box and have it move using numerous different cams to create an image on top of the box.
What I learned: I learned to stay patient when technology didn't work the way I though it was going to.
What i need to work on: Learning how to digitally orient parts to a project.
Name: Mini Train
Assignment: Make a mini train using Autodesk inventor.
What I learned: How to use more of the various tools on Inventor.
What I need to work on: Not over or under dimensioning.
Name: Reverse Engineering Project
Assignment: Do a visual, functional and structural analysis on an item.
What I learned: Staplers are really hard to draw. Also the steps and need for reverse engineering.
What I need to work on: My isometric sketches.
Name: Cardboard Chair Project
Assignment: Plan, construct and test a cardboard chair designed by me and a team.
What I learned: Cardboard is really hard to cut, and designing isn't as easy as I thought.
What I need to work on: I need to work on my communication skills and my ability to problem solve.
