After divorce I felt used and broken. I had to face and defeat entrapments set by depression to become fully functional and be able to create again. 

Nature Goddess Headdress, Staff and Costume. 2021. Headdress: Mixed Media. Headdress: Helmet, foam horns, feathers, desiccated natural elements, silk flowers and greenery, gold string, moss. Staff: Silk flowers and greenery, beads, bells, string, feathers, branch, and found animal skull. Attire: Ready made Kimono style cotton dress, velvet and silk skirts, leather. 

The Nature Goddess is a persona created after my FNST thru-hike. She watches over forest creatures and lands, protecting them from human folly.
