My main research topic is low-dimensional topology, and specifically smooth 4-manfiolds, but I lately also ventured into the topology of moduli spaces. Some specific objects I have been thinking about are small exotic 4-manifolds, immersed surfaces, slice knots, trisections, corks, and moduli spaces of Higgs bundles.
