This course (a.k.a. Advanced Economic Evaluation) focuses on applications of (behavioral) decision theory to economic evaluation. Example topics are: QALY models, measuring utility of health, monetary valuation of health, equity weighting and many more.

In the course I give a series of lectures on methods and biases in health utility measurement

Minor: Understanding Health Behavior

Together with my colleagues, I developed a Minor on Understanding Health Behavior.

Short description: Many types of interventions have been proposed to change behaviour, such as nudging, boosting, incentives and regulation, with varying rates of success. To truly change behaviour, one has to understand it first! In this minor, students are introduced to concepts from behavioural and health economics that will help understanding what it takes to change health behaviour. No background knowledge is needed, in 10 weeks students develop their own intervention.

My role in this Minor comprises (inter alia): course design, teaching workgroups, lecturing and (assisting in) coordination.
