Stefan’s life has given him a unique opportunity to be able to see and appreciate many points of view - including yours.
Stefan was born in Canada yet was raised all over the globe. Stefan spent his childhood from Calgary to Aswan, Quito to Nicosia, and more due to his father’s work. The result is a very open perspective as living in different cultures forces one to confront what was once the norm. He returned to Canada in 2000 to go to Carleton University, where he studied political science.
Most of Stefan’s career has been spent in the horticulture business. Presently, he is co-owner, with his wife, Kelly Windle, of the Planted Arrow, in Winchester. They, and their rambunctious three sons have made their home in North Dundas, moving to Winchester 3 years ago from their small farm in South Mountain.
Living on the farm, and now in town, Stefan understands the concerns of both rural and urban constituents and as a parent, is very aware of the needs of young people in our area.
His unusual upbringing has taught him that different perspectives are not necessarily a cause for conflict, but rather for growth, a lesson that has served him well.
A vote for Stefan will be a vote for a balanced voice, one who is able to stand his ground when necessary, but is open to careful listening to all ideas - especially yours.
