1) Do you restore liners? No, I do not restore liners and never will, for my small business it is unprofitable and to time consuming to attempt. Plus parts are expensive and the equipment takes up to much space.

2) How long does the process take? Usually a helmet with basic add ons takes about 2 weeks ish, plus I have multiple going at a time and making custom stencils  take some time. Usually you will have your helmet back in a month. If there are other add ons like helmet nets, or "theater made nets and covers" will usually take a month and a half. Time usually depends on the job, it's on a case by case basis.

3) Will you restore any helmet? No, restoring M1's is on a case by case basis, if you are trying to send in a  perfect M1 from anything Vietnam and under, I will deny you,  Sure you may want your WW2 ranger helmet, but not at the expense of  important history. Find a helmet that is beat up and is in need of some love.

4) Will you restore battle damaged helmets? Yes and no, If you have a helmet that has a bullet hole or some shrapnel damage and you want it to be restored like how you might've seen it on the battle field, that can totally be done and weathered to have that "look" again case by case basis. stress cracks on an M1 are also acceptable, but are not recommended.  there are some points like mentioned above, I will NOT ruin a perfectly good helmet. Use your own discretion!

5) Can I just send in my helmet? please DO NOT send in a helmet without contacting me, drawing up a plan or anything. This has happened once but has been resolved. I don't want to have  M1's on the shelf of shame, Please DO NOT do this!!!

6) Do You do this full time? No, This is an upscale side gig and as a collector is very relaxing and fun for me. I work to, so this is not my absolute main thing I do. what does this mean you might ask? well, this means that this takes some time, but I am extremely detail oriented into getting the best quality product, for my OCD's sake. Every helmet is expertly crafted to maintain accuracy to the time frame and to accurately mimic  the character of the Helmet you want.

7) Do you sell overseas? Yes, I will ship anywhere around the world, shipping Cost is COVERED BY THE BUYER! So if your willing to pay for the shipping by all means send in your helmet!

8) Do you sell helmets? No, I do not sell helmets, this is a service that you are paying for, You provide the helmet, I provide the service. I will never sell helmets as it's just to expensive and they're hard to source.

9) Do you restore bales and chinstraps? No, I will in the future, but currently I do not have the proper equipment. When I do provide this service it will be an add on for both the replacement of chinstraps and bales.

10) What color do you paint your helmets? I get asked this A LOT, I have tediously color matched to an original mint mid 1943 McCord. Then you may ask            "well aren't early war and late war colors different?"And you would be right, for early war the paint shade was slightly lighter so I mix the paint slightly lighter.  the color of your helmet will also change based on the "theater" sun bleaching will make it lighter and mud and so forth will change your helmet to the color of the "theater" it would've participated in. If that makes sense?
