The Interactive Backbone
While it's just getting started, the display currently features a modular, Lego-like computing and electronic backbone designed for 'easy' (in theory) future expansion. This infrastructure allows contributors to connect their tech-infused elements to an Arduino-compatible microcontroller, which can be wirelessly reprogrammed as needed. These elements could include additional sensors, actuators, or other embedded computing solutions. We're planning to incorporate interactive components that use proximity sensing and physical manipulation, drawing inspiration from robotics. We'll also support synchronization between these interactive components, the Arduino backbone, and peripheral smart devices.
