Although we do take small cash donations for our public workshops, if you would like to make a larger monetary donation, please consider doing so thru our host organization, the Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre. There you will have the opportunity to donate toward the RRCRC's general fund and/or any of its many programs, including the broader happenings at the incubator13 room at the Rideau Community Hub; many of those programs are summarized on the Rideau Community Hub web site.
Although we've been granted space and regular space maintainance by the RRCRC, the Guild is intended to be otherwise self-sufficient. We operate a pay-as-you-can model of gratuity (with a suggested contribution amount) at our public workshops to help recover material costs.
Our immediate equipment needs:
In 2025 we received many generous donations of electronic components and equipment that are being used in our makerspace commons. The outpouring of support was so great that it took us over six months to sift thru, sort, and stow the donations. Thanks to our donors, these items are receiving a second life rather than being sent to the garbage or recycling.
We don't have any immediate needs currently identified.
