Two sacraments, one beautiful journey of faith. This is a two-year preparation program. Children first prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and then for First Holy Communion. Through prayer, faith formation, and participation in Sunday Mass, they learn to receive Jesus with faith, joy, and a loving heart.
Step 1 · First Reconciliation
Children discover God’s mercy and experience the joy of forgiveness.
Step 2 · First Holy Communion
Children prepare to receive Jesus in the Holy Eucharist
for the first time.
Our two-year Confirmation Program, guided by the Diocese of Sacramento, helps young people deepen their relationship with Jesus, grow in the Catholic faith, and prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Through prayer, formation, service, retreats, and parish participation, candidates are strengthened by the Holy Spirit to live as faithful disciples of Christ.
OCIA is the Church’s process for adults who wish to become Catholic or complete their initiation into the Catholic Church. Through prayer, study, participation in parish life, and gradual spiritual formation, participants prepare to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist, according to their individual needs.
