Born at Charity Hospital in New Orleans and raised in Metairie, La., Fr. Howard attended public schools and CCD.
After graduating from High School in 2003, he attended St. Joseph Seminary College at St. Joseph Abbey, Covington, and attended Major Seminary at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans until 2007. Fr. Howard was ordained on June 4, 2011.
Since then, he has served as the Parochial Vicar at Visitation of Our Lady Parish in Marrero, Divine Mercy Parish in Kenner, and St. Peter Parish in Covington, and served as Pastor at Our Lady of Lourdes in Violet.
In 2022, Fr. Howard was named the Pastor at St. Cletus Church and School in Gretna, La., where he currently serves.
St. Cletus Catholic Church is happy to host a court of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, which is an organization dedicated to the service of the Church and the people of God.
The parishioners of St. Cletus Catholic Church seek to fulfill the mission of the Church, which is to make disciples of Christ (Mt 28:19) and to exercise a special care for those who are most in need(Gal 2:10), and the Catholic Daughters play a large role in helping us to participate in that mission.
