The Archdiocesan Conference/Retreat for Middle Schoolers (grades 6-8)
Sunday, May 1 at Mount St. Joseph High School
from 12:30 pm until closing Mass with Archbishop Lori beginning at 6:00 pm (transportation on your own).

Cost: $30 (please contact Ms. Rena if this is a hardship)
There will also be a parent session beginning at 4:00 pm and ending with the Closing Mass with Archbishop Lori at 6:00 pm.

The goal of Middle School Youth Ministry is to partner with parents to MAKE DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST out of our tween and young teen participants, and to foster the growth of discipleship among families (the "Domestic Church") and those who serve alongside them. Join us on the lifelong journey of following Jesus Christ!
El objetivo del Ministerio Juvenil por los grados 6-8 (MSYM) es para asociarse con los padres para HACER DISCÍPULOS DE JESUCRISTO de nuestros jóvenes participantes, Y fomentar el crecimiento del discipulado entre las familias (la «Iglesia Doméstica») y los que sirven junto a ellas. ¡Únete a nosotros en el viaje de toda la vida de seguir a Jesucristo!
Overview of Middle School Youth Ministry
Middle School Youth Ministry is open to ALL young people in grades 6-8, regardless of school or parish affiliation.
If you have a middle schooler who has been away from religious education for a while (or is just starting out), they are welcome to attend!
If you have a middle schooler who is seeking to prepare for the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation (Confession), and/or Eucharist (Communion), Middle School Youth Ministry is a foundation for those processes. Contact our Sacramental Coordinator for more information.
Youth in our parishes are invited to prepare for Confirmation during high school or beyond.
If you have a middle schooler with special needs, they are welcome to participate! Please reach out to the Director of Youth Ministry to discuss the best fit for your child in youth ministry.

MSYM (Ministerio Juvenil de la Escuela Intermedia) está abierto a TODOS los jóvenes en los grados 6-8, sin importar la afiliación escolar o parroquial.
Si usted tiene un estudiante en los grados 6-8 que ha estado lejos de la educación religiosa por un tiempo (o está empezando), ¡son bienvenidos a asistir!
Si usted tiene un estudiante en los grados 6-8 que está buscando prepararse para los Sacramentos del Bautismo, Reconciliación (Confesión), y/o Eucaristía (Comunión), MSYM es una base para esos procesos. Póngase en contacto con nuestro Coordinador Sacramental para obtener más información.
Los jóvenes de nuestras parroquias están invitados a prepararse para la Confirmación durante la escuela secundaria (grados 9-12) o más allá.
