The variety of scenery is amazing and equally enchanting - coastline, fields, wooded hills, and ridge scrambling. Spring is particularly nice because the fields are green and full of flowers. It can be very hot in summer and the sun is strong - you need plenty of water and sun cream. If you go off the main tracks beware of snakes - locals carry a stick to beat the undergrowth before passing through it. Fishing.
Brian Thompson is a super source of information
Golf.
The Korineum Golf and Country Club has superb facilities. The course is long and challenging. Bring plenty of balls - even low handicap players have been known lose 5 - 6 in a single round. Read more about the Club at http://www.korineumgolf.com/
Bridge.
Several owners like playing Contract Bridge. Post to the Forum before you go - you may find other enthusiasts are at the Bay at the same time. Also, there is a Bridge Club which meets at Korineum Golf Club every Monday.
