This Privacy Policy explains how Stat Striker ("we", "us", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application. We have written it in plain language so you can understand exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
By using Stat Striker, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Who We Are

Information We Collect
We have designed Stat Striker to work without requiring you to create an account or give us your name. Here is what we collect and why.
Information you provide
When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account for you automatically. This is a random identifier that lets you save your progress and create challenges for friends. It is not linked to your name, email, or any personal detail unless you choose to sign in with an email address or Apple ID.
If you create a challenge for a friend, the display name you enter is stored so your friend can see who challenged them.
If you choose to sign in with an email address or Apple ID, we store that information so you can recover your progress.
Information collected automatically
When you use the app, we collect limited technical and usage information, including:
• How you interact with the app, such as which game modes you play, scores you achieve, and features you use. This helps us understand what people enjoy and where the app can improve.
• Basic device and app information, such as your device type, operating system version, and app version. This helps us fix bugs and ensure the app runs correctly.
• A device advertising identifier, but only if you give permission. See the Advertising section below.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your real name, phone number, contacts, photos, location, or any sensitive personal information. We do not access your camera or microphone.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide the game and save your progress, streaks, and achievements.
• Let you create and accept challenges from friends.
• Understand how people use the app so we can improve it.
• Fix bugs and maintain the app.
• Send you optional reminders, such as streak notifications, if you have allowed notifications on your device.
• Show advertising and offer in-app purchases.
Advertising
Stat Striker shows advertising provided by Google AdMob. Advertising helps keep the app free to play.
Before any advertising identifier is used to personalise ads, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised based on a tracking identifier.
You can change your choice at any time in your device settings under Privacy and Security, then Tracking.
If you subscribe to Stat Striker Premium, you will not see any ads.
Google's use of advertising data is governed by Google's own privacy policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
In-App Purchases
Stat Striker offers optional subscriptions and one-time purchases. These are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment card details. Apple shares with us only the information needed to confirm that a purchase or subscription is active.
Analytics
We use PostHog to understand how people use the app. PostHog collects usage events and basic device information as described above. This information is tied to your anonymous identifier, not to your real identity. We use it only in aggregate to improve the app.
How Your Information Is Stored and Shared
Your progress, including your stats, experience points, achievements, game history, daily rewards, and any challenges you create, is saved on your device and, when you are online, also synced to our secure backend (Supabase) so you don't lose it. This data is linked to your anonymous account identifier, not to your real identity, which means it cannot be used to identify you personally.
Our backend (Supabase) and our analytics provider (PostHog) store data on servers located in the European Union.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers listed in this policy who help us run the app, and only to the extent needed to provide their service.
The service providers we rely on are:
• Apple, for app distribution and in-app purchases.
• Google AdMob, for advertising.
• Supabase, for secure backend storage.
• PostHog, for usage analytics.
Each of these providers handles data under their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
Children's Privacy
Stat Striker is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your information, including the right to access, correct, or delete it.
You can delete your account and all of its associated data at any time from within the app, under Settings. This removes your data from both your device and our backend. You can also contact us at statstrikerteam@gmail.com to request deletion. Deleting the app from your device also removes the copy of your data stored locally on it. You can control ad tracking through your device settings at any time, as described in the Advertising section.
Data Retention
We keep your backend data, such as your anonymous account, progress, stats, game history, and active challenges, only for as long as needed to provide the app. Challenges expire and are removed after a short period. If you request deletion, or delete your account from Settings, we will remove your backend data promptly.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure connections and access controls on our backend. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your data using industry standard practices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we will provide notice within the app. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
