PlagLense does not require users to create an online account in the current standalone version.

Document Processing

When you upload a document, PlagLense extracts text from the file for plagiarism checking. The extracted text is used only for scanning and report generation.

The extracted document text is not displayed publicly and is not shared with other users.

Internet-Based Checking

PlagLense may use internet access to search publicly available web sources and compare them with uploaded document content. This is done to identify possible similarity matches.

The app may send search queries derived from the uploaded document to public search services or access publicly available web pages for comparison.

Local Storage

PlagLense stores submission history, user profile information, and report references locally on your device. Users may delete selected history items or clear all history from within the app.

Generated plagiarism reports are saved on your device.

Information We Do Not Sell

MK DevLabs does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or uploaded document content.

Third-Party Services

PlagLense may access publicly available websites or search services to perform similarity checking. These third-party services may process requests according to their own privacy policies.

PlagLense does not control third-party websites or services.

Data Security

PlagLense is designed to keep user profile data, submission history, and generated reports on the user’s device. Users are responsible for securing access to their device and files.

Data Deletion

You can delete plagiarism check history from the app dashboard. You may also delete generated PDF reports manually from your device storage.

Children’s Privacy

PlagLense is intended for students, researchers, faculty, editors, and academic users. It is not specifically directed toward children under 13.

Accuracy Disclaimer

PlagLense provides similarity checking and plagiarism report generation based on available sources and app capabilities. It does not guarantee detection of all plagiarism, especially from private databases, paid journals, closed repositories, or unavailable sources.
