STEM Assessment and Reporting Tracker

A NIH-funded STEM informatics tool that supports inclusive measurement and rapid visualization of students' STEM development

Goals

The STEM Assessment and Reporting Tracker (START) is an informatics tool funded by a Science Education Partnership Award from the National Institutes of Health that aims to:

  • Support web-based measurement of key indicators of student development in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).

  • Enable inclusive evaluation of populations to accelerate research on STEM disparities and health inequities.

  • Integrate measurement of psychosocial factors with social determinants of health to understand biomedical workforce development.

  • Enhance dissemination of important evaluation practices for STEM and biomedical workforce communities.
