If you like the idea of accomplishing multiple smaller individual missions in order to win the overall mission, then this scenario is for you! This is kinda like Skyrim in space .... and I love Skyrim, so I love this scenario, and I hope you will too! Go ahead and jump in to give it a try!

Description

This scenario consists of several short missions. The first mission is always helping a station being harassed by Exuari. Once you complete that mission, you are directed to dock at the station. The Relay officer visits the dispatch office to get the next short mission. From this point forward, the scenario is divided into three groups of short missions. There are four missions in the first group and three missions in the second group. For the third group, you select between one of three open ended missions to end the scenario. In many cases, your helm officer will be asked to dock with stations that are in orbit, sometimes the station will be in orbit around a planet or moon that is in turn in orbit around a planet or star.

First group of missions

Fix Satellites
- Three stations orbiting a planet need help fixing their systems. Dock with each, assess their needs and address their needs.
Transport Planetary Researcher
- Planetary researcher, Enrique Flogistan, needs transportation from one station to another station that is closer to the planet he is researching. He’s a bit flaky, but his research is critical.
Investigate Orbiting Artifact
- Assist Polly Hobbs in her research of an anomalous artifact discovered amongst the orbiting asteroids. Will exercise helm’s skills.
- Defend Station from Marauders
  - A station calls for help from marauding Exuari. Go assist.

Second group of missions

Protect Freighter from Pirates
- Protect a freighter that is calling for help against pirates.
Handle Virus Outbreak
- Virus outbreak reported. Visit the station where treatment has been developed. Distribute the treatment to the stations in need.
Gather Intelligence
- Reports of intel on the next Exuari attack. Visit the station where intel has been collected. Act on the intel to protect the target of the Exuari attack.

Third group of missions. Select only one.

Exuari Extermination
- No victory condition. The Exuari send more and more enemies until eventually you are destroyed.
Destroy Exuari Stronghold
- Seek out, find and destroy the Exuari stronghold before they destroy you.
Survive Exuari Offensive
- Survive the Exuari offensive for a time period selected by Relay (15, 30 or 45 minutes)

At each of the mission selection decision points, Relay will be given the option to continue or stand down. Depending on time constraints, you may be asked to stand down by the bridge simulation administrators.
