Is this scenario principally Crew vs Crew, or Crew vs AI?
Crew vs AI
Is this scenario suitable for single or multiple ship crews?
Can be played by a single crew or collaboratively with multiple crews.
What's the overall difficulty/complexity? (Easy, Medium, Complex)
This is on a sliding scale. This is a 'figure it out to outsmart them' scenario; if you try to fight, you will lose.... Having multiple crews to help figure out the solution is better, but doesn't make the solution easier, just means you have more minds to solve it. So, it is a bit on the higher medium and lower complex area of the difficulty scale.
Can the scenario be accomplished in an hour or less, or will it take longer?
It will be hard to accomplish in less than and hour, but it is doable. It would be better if you had more time, but gosh darn it, this thing isn't going to sit around waiting for you to defeat it, and it has some planets to devour. So figure it out in less than an hour, or the thing is going to rampage right through your system...
Admiral's Recommendation:
If you've ever wanted to fly as part of a rebel fleet on a hopeless mission against monstrous odds all while your very planets are at stake -- then this scenario is for you! And when the captain is screaming at the crew to launch torpedoes, just remember, you don't need any targeting computer because you're going to listen to the voices in your head instead! ;)

You are sent to investigate the machinations of the Kraylor. They brag about their new weapon that they are about to field test. Their behavior starts to parallel the Imperial’s behavior from Star Wars, A New Hope. You find that the Kraylor have indeed built a planet destroying “weapon” and you are supposed to figure out a way to destroy it before it destroys all the planets in the region.
The first part of the mission is to locate and evaluate the Kraylor’s “weapon.” Afterwards, it is determined that it would be very difficult to simply take on the “weapon” alone. An alternative solution is presented as part of the Relay officer’s interaction with a friendly station. It involves stealing the technical readouts on the “weapon” from a Kraylor station then exploiting a weakness gleaned from analyzing the plans to destroy the “weapon.”
It's imporant to know that the Planet Devourer is going to rampage through your system. If it manages to destroy your five planets in your system, you've lost everything and the scenario is over. To win, you must destroy the Planet Devourer before it obliterates your five planets.
(This should all sound vaguely familiar, as if it could have happened in a galaxy, far, far away.... )
Just like those other incredibly brave rebels, you might find yourself a little overwhelmed and needing some assistance. No need to fear, we've prepared a video to guide you through the scenario and give you some hints if you need them.
