Costumes

All costumes will be fit in class by our front desk staff and/or instructors.  Minor alterations maybe needed.  You will receive your costume ready to wear with all accessories and tights.  We will pair your costume with tights that match the size of the costume ordered.  Opened tights CAN NOT BE RETURNED due to hygienic reasons so please double check you have received the correct size and reviewed the height/weight chart on the back of the tights box before opening.  Once the costume has been sent home, you are responsible for the loss of any accessories, tights or the costume itself.  Replacement costs will apply.  Please keep it in a safe spot and do not wear it for dress-up or other purposes until after all performances are complete!

Caring for your Costumes

Please ensure your child does not wear their costume other than for recital-related events.  (After recital please feel free to strut around town in it!) If you must wash your costumes, please follow the garment label and otherwise ensure they are hand-washed in cold water. Costumes should never be tumble-dried, and take care not to over-expose them to direct sunlight.  When it doubt, please contact us for further instructions.

Shoes & Tights

As previously mentioned, all required tights are included with costume purchase.  If the size allotted for your student does not meet your requirements, you may exchange (while quantities last) but the tights can not be opened.  Please refer to the height and weight chart before opening your package.  

All required shoes can be purchased  at our friendly local dance shop, Dancn' T's.

Underwear is typically not worn under dance costumes, as tights fulfill both hygienic and modesty purposes.  In the case that your dancer feels most comfortable, underwear must be skin-colored and must not be visible beneath your child’s costume.   

Please have your child wear recital undergarments to picture day so we can ensure it is appropriate for performance.

Costumes

Costumes need to be ordered early to guarantee that we have them by showtime.

Please see below for this year’s recital price list for each age group and style. This must be paid via cash, check, or credit card no later than FEB 15, 2025.   Costumes are to be brought to In Studio Dress Rehearsal with Photo Day and Recital Day.

Costume Fees are automatically charged to your card on file unless you come in and pay directly to the desk before February 15, 2025.
