Starlight School of Dance 

We offer many styles of dance for ages 3 and up. Here is a list of classes your child or yourself might be interested in. 

Ages 3 - 4 

• Creative Movement I and II

Ages 5 - 10 

• Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acro, Baton, Acro Cheer, Musical Theater and Lyrical (age 7 and up)

Ages 10 and up

• Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acro, Baton, Acro Cheer, Musical Theater,  Lyrical, Modern (age 12 and up)

Age 18 and up

• Adult Hip Hop

Kids of ALL abilities

• Adaptive Dance

Tuition

 1  Class per week    -    $40 per month

 2  Classes per week - $75 per month

 3  Classes per week - $100 per month

 4  Classes per week - $120 per month

 5  Classes per week - $135 per month

 6  Classes per week - $150 per month

 7  Classes per week - $165 per month

 8  Classes per week - $180 per month

 9  Classes per week - $195 per month

10 Classes per week - $210 per month

*$15 per additional class

Terms

• A full payment will be due the first week of every month.

• A ½ month payment will be due for June as a recital fee.

• We are able to accept tuition payments in the form of CASH or CHECKS. (There will be a $30.00 fee for returned checks.) Checks made out to “Starlight School Of Dance”.

• Payments can be made in the studio office during class hours.

• If the studio office is busy or closed, payments may be placed in the secure drop box outside of the office door. If using the drop box, please be sure to write what your payment is for on the check’s memo line, (Ex. “Sept. Tuition”, “Costume Payment”, “Parade”, ect.)  and the name of the student.

• A costume deposit of $40.00 is due by December 1st, 2024

• All costumes are to be paid in full by March 1st, 2025

• If your dancer is not going to participate in the Recital, you are responsible for informing Tina in the office no later than December 1st, 2024.  If not made aware, a costume will be ordered for your dancer and you will be financially responsible.

Private Lessons and Senior Solos

Private lessons are available in most subject areas and are based on instructor availability. Please make private lesson requests through Tina in the office. Each private lesson will be 45 minutes in duration with a fee of $20.00 to be paid prior to the start of the lesson.

Senior Solos are available to students who meet at least one the following requirements…

• Student has been dancing at Starlight for 5 consecutive years

• Student had been on competition dance team at Starlight for 2 consecutive years.

There will be a $75.00 choreography fee for a senior solo. This fee includes 4 one hour sessions with the choreographer of your choice. If more time is needed, arrangements will need to be made with the choreographer and a private lesson fee may be applied. All senior solos must be performance ready at least two weeks before recital and must be choreographed with the help of a Starlight instructor. A senior dancer who is interested in performing a solo must make their request through Tina  no later than November 1st, 2024.
