HMRF Research Fellowship, Health Bureau, Govt. of Hong Kong SAR
Prof Sheikh Taslim Ali (PI) was confirmed for the HMRF Research Fellowship to carry out continuing research on 'improvement in time-varying inference of transmissibility and severity of respiratory diseases'. The award also confirmed his new role as 'Visiting Researcher' at the School of Public Health, Imperial College London, during the year 2026-2027 for active collaboration with Dr Marc Baguelin.

Dr KP Stephen Chang Gold Medal: Congratulations, Dongxuan!
Dr Dongxuan Chen was awarded for the quality of his PhD research on infectious disease dynamics, particularly for exploring the time-varying characteristics of COVID-19. Dongxuan was previously awarded the YS and Christabel Lung Postgraduate Scholarship 2023/24, and took up exchange training under Prof Adam Kucharski at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2024.

Sino-British Fellowship Trust Visitorships: Congratulations, Dr Md Pear Hussain!
Dr MP Hossain was awarded the Sino-British Fellowship Trust Visitorships for 2024/25, to visit to establish project collaborations with Dr. Ilaria Dorigatti and Prof Neil M Ferguson at Imperial College London, UK, in 2025.
