ABOUT MY MUSIC CAREER:

I made music a career in 2011, recording my first tracks in 2013, and performing live in 2014. My journey began in a small town in Newcastle, Kwa-zulu Natal where I started as a Hip-Hop artist, but eventually grew into a producer, and then a Tribal Music artist, also known as Afro-Pop. I began attending local radio stations in 2015 and my breakout song "Ingadla Remix" helped establish my brand "Star T Musick" and led to independent bookings and performances.

I have had the opportunity to perform at various festivals alongside South Africa's big names, produce for upcoming artists and DJs from all over the world, and collaborate with actors from popular South African TV shows such as "Muvhango" and "Isono". 

In 2017, I began working on my debut album "I Am Music" which was completed in 2018. In 2019, I signed my first publishing contract with Sheer Publishing and my second contract with a marketing company called Live Wired. My album was released on August 23, 2019. Despite not doing well in sales, I was nominated for the "Back To The City Hip Hop Festival Competition" as a producer and made it to the top 20. I was also nominated for "Best Artist" at the "Live Your Dreams (LYD) Youth Awards"

I also had a song called "BALEKA" which took number 1 on many Community and Online radios and hit number 1 on Africa's Biggest Radio Station "UKHOZI FM" Hip Hop charts.

 As an actor I also appeared on TV Drama Series Like Isibopho Season 1(Mzansi Wethu) | Uzulu Nomhlaba Season 1(Mzansi Magic) | Makoti (SABC1) & Splintered Pieces (Evod) In 2022 Alone.
