Personal Project: Wall Art
Personal Project: Wall Art
Painterly Processed Photos is a digital retouching genre where Stan Rohrer is exploring landmarks and scenics as an art form of unique sophistication.
Story Walls! Walls can tell personal stories via displayed images. Since embarking on an interior redecorating project at my home in 2022, I have further developed a deep appreciation for photo-based wall art and its presentation. A printed photograph can tell a compelling story, evoke a wide range of emotions, or simply enhance the atmosphere of a living space. While drawing from my extensive photo library, I am particularly captivated by visually transformative digital post-processing, that retains a hint of realism, while offering a more thought-provoking artistic experience. As I refine my 'painterly' approach to photo retouching, I hope my visual art will invite you into a serene space for quiet contemplation. I trust you will find images that resonate with you, evoke positive emotions, tell your personal story, and infuse your home or office with a touch of unique sophistication.
