Individuals interested in the traditional master's program at UNTHSC may join the Visual Sciences, Pharmacology & Neuroscience, or Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacotherapy disciplines in the School of Biomedical Sciences to do research in the Stankowska lab.
In the optional second year of the Medical Science (MedSci) program, students can do an internship practicum in the Stankowska lab to gain more research experience.
First-year specialized master's (Medical Science, etc.) students and undergraduates are always welcome to participate in lab research as volunteer research assistants.
UNTHSC Institute for Health Disparities (IHD) offers Undergraduate Summer Research Internships every year. Interested students should apply through the hyperlink provided.
