To our amazing residents: we want to create a safe space for you all to report challenging situations anonymously. This can include anything from challenging situations with attendings or other staff, program changes that you'd rather not have your name connected to, etc. These responses will be directly reviewed by Marianne Chen and regularly discussed with program leadership to determine changes we need to make or situations we need to address. Thank you for taking the time and energy to submit these responses - as Dr. Wolpaw would say, "what you are doing is important and valued."

In the same vein as above, the chiefs want to hear from you! Questions you have or feedback for the program, the chief residents, or ways we can make your life better are all welcome. We encourage concerns about safety/mistreatment to be sent to Dr. Chen directly, but we're also in regular contact with the leadership and can help triage concerns if you're not sure. The form is also anonymous, if you wish, but we'd love to know who you are so that we can share how we're working to make things better.

If you would like to submit a report to the hospital (SHC) rather than our program, please use the link HERE to submit a SAFE report. If the link does not work, it can be easier to access through SHC Connect on a Stanford computer or through Citrix.
For issues on Peds or OB, LPCH uses a system for safe reporting called iCARES, which is easiest to access on an LPCH computer.
If you ever have issues submitting a report or don't feel comfortable submitting in that forum, we encourage you to reach out to the chiefs or Dr. Chen, who are more than willing to submit one on your behalf.
