Stand Up with Us Rally

American colleges and universities have long been the envy of the world. They provide the freedom to explore the boundaries of human knowledge, to question what we think we know, and to push our country forward. History is littered with moments where these institutions and these freedoms have been attacked-with horrifying consequences. The need is urgent! We stand up for science, humanities, literature, mathematics, medicine, research progress, all students, all faculty, all staff, and freedom. We demand university leaders across the nation to do the same: unite with peers, publicly, and STAND UP WITH US.

April 19th Day of Action

As part of 50501 and Indivisible's nationwide "Day of Action" protests, Stand Up for Science Iowa was invited to set up a table with other local organizations. We really enjoyed connecting with the community at this event!
