The Standish Historical Society is excited to announce that we are closer than ever to securing a year-round home! While our recent efforts to purchase the Albion Howe School were unsuccessful, a new and promising opportunity has emerged.

We are now pursuing the historic property at 9 Oak Hill Road in Standish, a charming house dating back to circa 1840. This remarkable piece of history is within our reach, and we are calling on the community to help us achieve our long-held goal of establishing a year-round center for preserving and celebrating local history.
