NEW RELEASE: R110B Pin Designs (Batch 2)
For the 20th anniversary of the conclusion of the Manhattan Bridge rehabilitation project, I decided go to ahead and recreate part of the May-November 1995 Subway Map. This edition is significant because this series of maps (three of them) were issued solely for emergency bridge work in 1995, and both sides of the maps showed different service patterns depending on the time of day: rush hours, evening, and late night service on one side, and weekday midday and weekend services on the other side, where the trunk diagram would usually be located.
Because these maps were produced in 1995, these editions were not digitally posted for the public. So I decided to take a crack at recreating one side of the map (more specifically, the side that showed weekday midday and weekend service).
Using reference maps on the Internet as well as a physical copy that I own, I converted an existing map (in this case, an April 1997 Subway Map).
This page contains the finished product. It'll probably be updated with snapshots taken during development at a later time.
