Task overview

Assessment Type 1: Folio

The Folio is worth 30% of the total subject grade. It consists of:

• Research proposal
• Research development

Submission requirements

• The SACE Board requires 10 pages of evidence for the Folio. As a guide, the proposal should be 2-3 pages and the research development 7-8 pages.
• The Folio is submitted electronically to the SACE Board. All relevant files must be in your Google Drive folder.
• SACE requirements for electronic submission.

Assessment criteria

• Planning
  • P1 Consideration and refinement of a research question
  • P2 Planning of research processes appropriate to the research question
• Development
  • D1 Development of the research
  • D2 Analysis of information and exploration of ideas to develop the research
  • D3 Development of knowledge and skills specific to the research question
  • D4 Understanding and development of one or more capabilities
