StackCheck — Supplement Advisor App
Effective Date: March 26, 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and StackCheck (Sole Proprietor) ("we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the StackCheck mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using StackCheck, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
StackCheck is an educational supplement information application that provides general information about dietary supplements including timing guidance, dosage information, and general interaction notes. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
THE SERVICE DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE. Information in the Service has not been evaluated by Health Canada, the FDA, or any other regulatory authority and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.
The free plan provides access to basic supplement stack management for up to 6 supplements, limited conflict detection, daily scheduling, and benefits information. Free-plan users will see advertisements served by Google AdMob.
The Pro plan provides unlimited supplements (including 30+ additional Pro-only supplements), AI-powered label scanning, advanced conflict detection, ad-free experience, and priority support. Pro plan pricing:
• Monthly: $2.99 USD per month
• Yearly: $19.99 USD per year ($1.67/month — save approximately 44%)
We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will not affect your current billing period.
New Pro subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. The following terms apply to free trials:
• Only one free trial per Apple ID or Google Play account
• You must provide a valid payment method to start a free trial
• Your payment method will be charged automatically at the end of the trial period unless cancelled
• Cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid charges
• We reserve the right to determine free trial eligibility
Subscriptions are processed and managed through:
• Apple App Store (iOS): billed to your Apple ID account
• Google Play Store (Android): billed to your Google Play account
All billing, payment disputes, and financial transactions are governed by the respective platform's terms of service. We do not directly process or store payment information.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Your platform account will be charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → StackCheck → Cancel Subscription
• Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions → StackCheck → Cancel
• In-app: Account → Manage Subscription → Cancel
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You retain Pro access until the end of the period you have paid for
• No partial refunds are issued for unused time in the current period (subject to Section 7)
• Upon cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan
• Your supplement stack data is retained and accessible on the Free plan (up to 6 supplements)
Because all purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play, refund requests are governed by their respective refund policies:
• Apple: request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com within 90 days of purchase
• Google Play: request refunds within 48 hours of purchase through Google Play, or contact Google support for later requests
In addition to platform policies, we will work in good faith to resolve refund requests in the following circumstances:
• Technical issues: if a confirmed technical fault prevented you from accessing Pro features for a significant portion of your billing period
• Accidental purchase: if you contact us within 48 hours of an unintended subscription or renewal
• Duplicate charges: if you were charged multiple times for the same period
To request a refund under our policy, contact support@stackcheckapp.com within 30 days of the charge with your order ID and description of the issue. We will respond within 5 business days.
Refunds will not be issued for:
• Change of mind after the free trial period has ended
• Failure to cancel before automatic renewal
• Dissatisfaction with educational content or supplement information
• Requests made more than 90 days after the original charge
You agree not to:
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service to make medical decisions without consulting a qualified healthcare professional
• Misrepresent supplement or health information obtained from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
THE SERVICE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE. STACKCHECK IS AN EDUCATIONAL TOOL ONLY. ALWAYS CONSULT A LICENSED HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL BEFORE:
• Starting any new supplement regimen
• Combining supplements with prescription or over-the-counter medications
• Making changes to an existing supplement regimen
• Using supplements if you are pregnant, nursing, under 18, or have a medical condition
We expressly disclaim any liability for health outcomes resulting from reliance on information provided in the Service.
All content in StackCheck — including supplement databases, interaction rules, benefits information, app design, and code — is the proprietary property of StackCheck (Sole Proprietor) and is protected by Canadian copyright law and applicable international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STACKCHECK (SOLE PROPRIETOR) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Health outcomes resulting from supplement use based on information in the app
• Loss of data or unauthorized access to your account
• Interruption or cessation of Service
• Any errors or omissions in the content of the Service
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StackCheck (Sole Proprietor), its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of a third party.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the province in which you reside, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at support@stackcheckapp.com. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act of the applicable Canadian province, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
