StackCheck (Sole Proprietor) ("we," "our," or "us") operates the StackCheck mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our Service. By using StackCheck, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
This policy complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) of Canada, applicable provincial privacy legislation, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where applicable.
• Account registration data: name, email address, and password
• Supplement stack data: the supplements you add, dosages, and timing preferences
• Profile preferences: health goals, dietary preferences, and plan type (Free or Pro)
• Communications: messages you send to our support team
• Payment information: processed securely by Apple App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat — we do not store your payment card details
• Device information: device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers
• Usage data: features used, screens viewed, time spent in app, and interaction patterns
• Log data: IP address, access times, app crashes, and error reports
• Analytics data: anonymized aggregate usage statistics to improve the Service
• Google or Apple: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address
• RevenueCat: subscription status and purchase history (no payment card data)
• Google AdMob: advertising identifiers for serving relevant ads to free-plan users
We use your personal information for the following purposes:
• Providing and personalizing the Service, including your supplement stack and schedule
• Processing and managing your subscription through RevenueCat
• Sending transactional emails: account confirmation, password reset, subscription receipts
• Sending optional marketing communications about new features and product launches (you may opt out at any time)
• Displaying personalized advertising to free-plan users through Google AdMob
• Improving the Service through analytics and user feedback
• Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Service
• Protecting against fraud, abuse, and security threats
Free-plan users of StackCheck will see advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the free plan, you consent to:
• Google AdMob collecting and using advertising identifiers from your device
• Personalized or contextual advertisements being displayed within the app
• Data being shared with Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy
Pro subscribers do not see advertisements. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
• Supabase: our database and authentication provider, which stores your account and supplement data on secure servers
• RevenueCat: subscription management and billing processing
• Google AdMob: advertising services for free-plan users
• Anthropic: AI-powered label analysis (images are processed transiently and not retained)
• Law enforcement or regulatory bodies: when required by applicable law or court order
• Successors: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you
Your data is stored on servers located in North America operated by Supabase. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
• Encryption of data in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher
• Encryption of data at rest
• Row-level security ensuring users can only access their own data
• Regular security assessments and access controls
No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
• Account data: retained until you delete your account
• Supplement stack data: deleted upon account deletion
• Event logs: retained for up to 24 months for analytics, then anonymized or deleted
• Backup copies: may persist for up to 90 days after deletion

Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial law, you have the right to:
• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information
• Withdraw consent to the collection or use of your information (subject to legal or contractual restrictions)
• Request deletion of your personal information
• File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

StackCheck is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at privacy@stackcheckapp.com and we will delete such information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
