Phase 4 is the most difficult level to reach. At this level, the teacher creates an environment where students easily make decisions of which tech tool to use and is flexible to adjust to the needs of the activity. Tech tools at this level are used in in an unconventional way and students are self-directed and able to combine a variety of tools together to complete a task. The teacher guides, mentors and models tech use for the student. The task given could not be completed without access to technology.
Objective:
Participants will become an advance technology integration teacher. They will learn how to full integrate technology in the classroom.
Outcomes:
Teacher creates rich learning environment
Students regularly engage in higher-order activities.
Students are empowered to extend use of tech tools with greater ownership and responsibility for learning.
