I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with my BSN in 2000. I spent the next 8 years in the Intensive Care Unit at Seton Medical Center honing my cardiac skills. While pursing my MSN, I dabbled in home health and hospice before landing back in the ICU at St. David's Main and Georgetown where I was able to learn from cutting edge pulmonologists.

In 2012 I began working for a small start up company, Elite Patient Care, following my credentialing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As EPC has grown from 10 employees to several hundred across 5 states, I have had the opportunity grow professionally and personally with the company.

After suffering a health crisis in 2016, I discovered the power food has in our well being. I have become passionate about learning, educating, and healing through the diet and have made this the topic of my DNP project.

When I am not working or studying, I can be found watching my daughters play golf, running, or reading a good book.
