The Paekākāriki Community Trust holds a market in St Peter's Village Hall, right in the centre of the village, on the first Saturday of every month. The market runs between 10am and 1pm. There are normally about 25 stalls. You will find a variety of things for sale, from second-hand books and trinkets to veges, pickles, cakes, clothes, knitted goods, pottery, calendars, cards, hand-made books, jewellery, plants and more.
Book a stall
How to book: Please fill in the form below and click 'submit'. Someone will email you with payment instructions (it might take a couple of days - note that emails sometimes end up in people's junk folders, so check there if you don't hear from us).
Cost: $20 for one market, or $15 per stall if you book and pay for more than one market. You will need to pay in advance by internet banking to reserve your place. If all stalls are booked or if you don't pay in advance, we will put you on a waiting list.
Cancellations: If you can't make the market, please cancel by 8pm on the Tuesday before. We will then refund your fee. No refunds if you don't turn up.
Space: We will provide you with a standard-sized trestle table (760mm x 1830mm) inside the hall. We have space for 25 tables. If you wish to bring your own table or stand, that's fine, but you will need to fit everything into a trestle-sized space.
Setting up: You can set up from 8.15am. Please be in place by 9.30am. There is plenty of parking nearby.
NOTE: October, November, December markets are now fully booked, however you can go on a wait list, we will let you know if a stall does become available.
