"In my free time I like to play soccer."

How did you first become and Altar Server?
"I chose to become an altar server as a stepping stone toward serving the Lord and becoming more involved in the Mass, with the hope of eventually serving as a lector or a choir member. I decided to continue serving after noticing a decline in the number of new altar servers joining the ministry. I wanted to continue supporting the Mass by serving wherever I was most needed."
What is your favorite part about serving?
"My favorite part about serving is being able to help the Mass run smoothly by assisting the priest, whether it’s preparing the altar for the Eucharist or accompanying him during blessings at special Masses. I also enjoy being an active participant in these celebrations. Serving gives me the opportunity to be more involved in the liturgy and offers a unique, front-row perspective on the beauty and significance of these special occasions."
If you had any advice for a new server, what would it be?
"If I could give any advice to a new altar server, I would encourage them to remain open-minded and flexible during Mass. At times, visiting priests may celebrate the Mass differently from what we are accustomed to, and it’s important to adapt and support them as best we can. Rather than taking those differences personally, view them as an opportunity to serve with humility and help ensure that the Mass is celebrated smoothly."
What is your favorite bible verse/inspirational thought?
"Philippians 2:3-4"
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
What do you like to do in your free time?
"Lately, I’ve really been enjoying crafting—I recently made a journal cover for my scrapbook, and it’s been a fun creative outlet. I’m also hoping to get back into reflective journaling, especially alongside my Bible reading, since I find it helps me slow down, reflect, and stay grounded."
Is there an Altar Server(s) you particularly enjoy serving with, or anyone you want to acknowledge for supporting your growth in faith as a Catholic?
"I have been altar serving with my siblings for as long as I can remember. I would like to acknowledge my two younger brothers, Gabriel and Jacob, for standing beside me through service and for supporting each other in growing our faith."

"Each priest and deacon pairing have different ways of running Mass. Try to remember how they run it."

"Study the bible, crochet, swim hang out with friends."

"I enjoy serving the more important Masses due to the more complexities like handling the thurible."
If you had any advice for a new server, what would it be?
"I would say give 100% attention and observe the more experienced and give your heart to the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist."

"Psalm 150"
Hallelujah! Praise God in his holy sanctuary, give praise in the mighty dome of heaven. Give praise for his mighty deeds, praise him for his great majesty. Give praise with blasts upon the horn, praise him with the harp and lyre. Gove praise with tambourines and dance, praise him with stings and pipes. Give praise with crashing cymbals, praise him with sounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath give praise to the Lord! Hallelujah!
What do you like to do in your free time?
"I enjoy fishing, playing volleyball, cooking and replicating churches on Roblox."

"I enjoy serving with Gemma Domondon becasue I would serve with her all the time, especially during Simbang Gabi and important Masses. She helped me from my journey's start and she is very easy to cooperate with."

"It's actually not as hard as it seems and you will do just fine. It's actually very fun."

How did you first become and Altar Server?
"I became and altar server because I wanted to make my relationship with God stronger and to be more involved in the parish. Doing this service has made my faith grow stronger and has helped me serve my community to the best of my ability."
What is your favorite part about serving?
"My favorite part about serving is becoming friends with the other altar servers as well as being able to serve God since it strengthens my faith with Him. Serving has made me feel better as a person since I am helping my community and strengthening my relationships."
If you had any advice for a new server, what would it be?
"My advice for a new server is to be calm and to remember that he or she is directly serving God, and it is fine to make mistakes as long as you learn from them. Learning from the mistakes can help slowly become better throughout time."

Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, [love] is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick tempered, it does not brood over injury.
What do you like to do in your free time?
"In my free time, I like to paint, listen to music, draw, and the most important thing is to pray every day that makes me feel close to God."

"There are many altar servers I enjoy serving with, and they are Sofia Alvarado, Carlos Alvarado, Carlos Estrada, Tiffany Chavez, Diego Chavez, and Jesus Chavez. I like to serve with them because they are patient and kind. I would like to acknowledge my parents, my aunt and my unlce because they were the people who encouraged me to become an altar server when I was hesitant on becoming one. I would also like to acknowledge my grandparent because he has inspired me to become more religious since he has a close relationship with God, and I just want to be like him."

"I became and Altar Server because growing up, my three brothers were also serving both at St. Joseph and St. Vincent de Paul, so I decided that I would do it too when I got older."
What is your favorite part about serving?
"My favorite part about serving is serving at Simbang Gabi and Easter Vigil. I learned a lot about God and my culture at the same time!"
If you had any advice for a new server, what would it be?
"Advice I would give to a new server is to focus on the altar and be ready for Mass."

"To pay attention to Mass and the Father's signal."

"I have more than one; Isaiah 54:15-17; Isaiah 41:10 and Joshua 1:9."
Isaiah 54:15-17 - If there be an attack, it is not my doing; whoever attacks shall fall before you. See, I have created the smith who blows on the burning coals and forges weapons as his work; It is I also who has created the destroyer to work havoc. Every weapon fashioned against you shall fail; every tongue that brings you to trial you shall prove false. This is the lot of the servants of the Lord, their vindication from me, oracle of the Lord.
