What's the difference between the Competition and Project Expo? We're glad you asked!
Student teams can compete in the Project Competition by submitting an interest form and a 1-4 page paper that follows the SSTC Paper Template to ssta@utk.edu before the deadline of February 15th! Judges will review papers and decide on finalists, who will be given the opportunity to present their project at the conference! You will be notified by ssta@utk.edu if you are selected for a conference presentation.
The Project Expo is an opportunity for EVERY participating team to showcase what your team has worked on. There will be a large room with tables designated for each team to display rockets, robots, subsystems, satellite components, or any space technology! Please submit your project dimensions and details to the Project Expo form by February 15th if interested! We can't wait to see your projects!
Project Competition includes the submission of a sign-up form, a written paper, and the potential to present at the conference
Project Expo includes the submission of a sign-up form and the chance for teams to display any and all projects at the conference
