Poster sessions at the International Summer School of Sign Language Studies will take place over four days, with two-hour sessions each day. The official languages of the poster sessions are International Sign Language and written English.
Poster topics should address a field within sign language studies, including (but not limited to) sign language linguistics, Deaf studies, sign language interpreting, sign language teaching, or other disciplines that interface with sign languages and Deaf communities.
Abstracts may be submitted either:
in written English (maximum 300 words, excluding literature), or
in International Sign Language (maximum 6 minutes), provided via an online link.
The sign language version must meet the following requirements:
Background: A single-color background.
Clothing: Solid, single-color upper clothing.
Duration: Minimum 4 minutes, maximum 6 minutes.
Structure: The presentation should follow this order: Title, Rationale, Theoretical Background, Methodology, Results and Discussion.

Abstracts in English or International Sign Language must be submitted via the "Upload the abstract" below by 15 April 2026, 23:59 (Eastern European Time). Please name your file using your family name and the title of the abstract.
An abstract will be considered successfully submitted only after you receive a confirmation email.
