FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What if my daughter loses her belongings at school?

Both at home and in school, we need to help our students learn how to look after what is theirs. For this reason, please encourage your daughter to thoroughly search for any misplaced items before consulting their teacher.

We understand, however, that misplacing items is normal, particularly at this young age, and are willing to support you and your daughter in retrieving any lost property. Nevertheless, this is only possible when the items in question have been clearly marked with students’ names.

Thus, It is essential to label all belongings sent to school including hats, clothes, shoes, socks, water bottles, books, pencils, backpacks, lunch boxes, etc. with your daughter’s full name.

What happens if my daughter forgets something?

We work very hard with the students to help them become well-organised learners. In order to achieve this goal we depend on parental support. We ask that you work on developing a routine at home where you teach your daughter to check both her timetable and green bag the night before to ensure everything she will need for the next school day is in it.

Because girls in our section are very young, parents or nannies/carers are allowed to bring in any forgotten items. These should be dropped off at the office with Ms Lita Muñoz or Mr Iván Paucar, who will then make sure it gets delivered to your daughter’s classroom.

Is my daughter allowed to bring toys or electronic devices to school?

Nursery and Pre School students are permitted to bring one toy to school that can fit in their green bag. We ask you to help your daughter to be sensible about what she decides to bring since very special toys or dolls with many small clothing items cause unnecessary worry.

Students in the Early Years Section are NOT allowed to bring electronic devices to school.
