Student Facing
Purpose: To fund programs, events, and materials that directly benefit or engage students.
Examples:
Student celebrations (honor roll breakfasts, field day, dances, or spirit events)
Student recognition (CARE awards, certificates, incentive programs)
Assemblies, motivational speakers, or performances
Support for clubs or student-led initiatives (e.g., student council, robotics team)
Student-led projects (ex. from Leadership Club) - $4,800 committed for outdoor classroom & mural (carryover from last year)
Financial assistance for students in need (e.g., field trip scholarship)
8th Grade River Trip, 8th Grade Band/Choir Elitch's Trip
Enrichment (Curriculum, Equipment, Programming)
Purpose: To enhance academic or extracurricular learning experiences that align with the school’s educational goals.
Examples:
Curriculum-based enrichment (STEM kits, art supplies, reading programs)
Educational subscriptions (Newsela, BrainPOP, Nearpod)
Guest educators or specialists (authors, scientists, artists in residence)
Schoolwide assemblies or workshops tied to curriculum themes
Equipment upgrades (microscopes, 3D printers, musical instruments)
Funding for after-school programs or academic clubs (math team, coding club)
Teacher Needs
Purpose: To directly support teachers’ classroom needs that aren’t covered by the school budget.
Examples:
Classroom supplies (markers, paper, whiteboard cleaner, art materials)
Small grants for special projects (science experiments, classroom libraries)
Software subscriptions or online learning tools
Flexible seating or classroom organization materials
Replacement of worn or outdated educational games or manipulatives
Care for Staff
