Music Program
This year, 3rd - 4th grade will perform a Spring Program on Thursday, April 29th. Performances are at 2pm and 6pm, families are welcome to come to either or both shows. These programs represent many weeks of preparation and hard work, so we expect students to be present for both performances. Grading (3rd-5th grades)
Music grades are determined mainly by daily grade points, with 4 points possible each class.
Students earn those points by participating to the best of their ability and respecting the learning environment. They may lose those points if they fail to participate respectfully.
Students may also be graded on in-class performances of songs and instruments, as well as graded written work. When grades are low, students are always given a chance to earn back some points by reviewing what they missed and fixing answers to show improved comprehension.
