Ushering in a new wave of student leadership, the newly elected officers of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Lal-lo National High School were formally installed during the Induction Ceremony held on July 16, marking the official start of their term for School Year 2025 to 2026.
The ceremony recognized student leaders across various organizations and reinforced the school’s commitment to empowering learners through active participation. Municipal Mayor Hon. Florence Oliver B. Pascual administered the oath of office to the SSLG, SPTA, and Faculty Club Officers. In his address, he challenged the leaders to take action with purpose, reminding them that effective leadership begins with integrity and a vision for others.
Meanwhile, Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Maria Olivia B. Pascual swore in class, section, and club officers, and urged them to lead with empathy, respect, and responsibility.
School Principal Dr. Cristina B. Rosales closed the program by expressing confidence in the newly installed leaders. She underscored the vital role of student governance in shaping a united and responsive school community.

Demonstrating active student involvement and community spirit, the student leaders from Lal-lo National High School participated in the five-day Brigada Eskwela held from July 9 to 13, 2025, in preparation for the opening of classes.
Spearheaded by the Department of Education and anchored on the theme “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa,” this year’s campaign highlights the role of collaboration in ensuring school readiness and reinforces the culture of reading among learners.
During the activity, SSLG officers engaged in various tasks including classroom cleaning, repainting, organizing materials, and campus beautification efforts. Alongside teachers, parents, and volunteers, the student leaders contributed to creating a safe and welcoming learning environment.

Student leaders and representatives from different schools shared strategies on resisting peer pressure, avoiding harmful substances, and encouraging collective wellness through education and advocacy.

With teamwork and dedication, The student government officers officially launched Project P.R.O. (Polish, Revamp, Optimize) with the successful completion of its Day 1 implementation, focused on improving the SSLG Office.
The project aims to transform the SSLG office into a more organized, professional, and inspiring environment where student leaders can effectively collaborate, plan, and carry out activities for the school community.
According to the officers, the improved workspace is expected to foster a stronger sense of responsibility and productivity among members while serving as a symbol of the organization’s commitment to effective student leadership.

With clipboards in hand and eyes on discipline, the Student Patrol of Lal-lo National High School officially begins its daily gate monitoring this week—an initiative led by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) to uphold order and responsibility among students.
Operating every Monday to Friday, the Student Patrol will be stationed at the school entrance to ensure that all learners arrive on time, wear the proper school uniform, and carry their school IDs. The routine will be carried out by four designated SSLG officers per day, ensuring consistent presence and support at the start of each school day.
This initiative emphasizes not only enforcement of school policies, but also the active role of student leaders in promoting a culture of discipline, accountability, and school pride.

In line with the 80th Founding Anniversary of Lal-lo National High School, the student leaders of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) actively participated in a Propagation and Tree Planting Activity spearheaded by the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O).
The initiative focused on planting Santan, Rosal, and Croton plants around the school grounds, reinforcing the shared goal of making the campus cleaner, greener, and more vibrant.
