The main goal of the artwork was to convey the characteristic natural and historical features of the place. The ancient village Kosino is located on three lakes: White, Holy, and Black.
Toponymy was taken into account (the origin of the name "Kosino") when creating the compositional structure of the paintings. According to one version, the origin of the name of the village is the word "kosa" (the Russian word for a sandbar). The composition contains broken sculpturesque elements which resemble sandbars.
Circles act as compositional centers. They represent luminaries and lakes separated by angular sandbanks.
Shoals of fish and flocks of birds act as pictorial elements.
Each panel reflects the movement of passenger flows.
