The Sunnyside Library Media Center would like to help students celebrate their birthday.  All Kindergarten through 5th grade students are invited to join the Sunnyside Birthday Book Club.

During the school year, the library media center hosts four parties celebrating three different birthday months during each party.  For a $15 donation, Birthday Book Club members are invited to attend one of four parties.  During the Birthday Book Club Party, members will choose one new library book as their Birthday Book.  A birthday label will be placed on the inside front cover of the library book.  The label will have the student’s name and grade.  The birthday boy/girl will have the honor to be the first person to check out the library book.  Students will have their picture taken and will be given a treat, birthday pencil and bookmark.  Students will also enjoy an assortment of party games.
