Scripps National Spelling Bee

Each year, the Bee publishes the School Spelling Bee Study List, a list of 450 words to help students prepare for school spelling bees. These words come from a list of books carefully selected by the Bee for their engaging and age-appropriate content as well as their rich vocabulary. We call these books the Great Words, Great Works list.  Click on the Bee logo to see view the Great Words, Great Works list.

Nothing Bundt Cakes Reading Program

As part of their mission to bring joy to the community and celebrate accomplishments big and small, Nothing Bundt Cakes Olathe invites your student(s) to join their "Books & Bundts" Youth Reading Program for a sweet way to turn them into enthusiastic young readers.  From August 20, 2024 until May 20, 2025, students will receive a free bundtlet for each month that they read 400+ minutes.

Every Kid Outdoors
