Virtual Meeting

Sadly, we are yet again unable to meet for the annual IMBeR SSC meeting. It is particularly unfortunate that we will not get the chance to meet our new SSC members (Nireka, Thorsten, Andrea and Micaela) and the new IMBeR Strategy Director (GiHoon) in person.

With the challenge of SSC meeting attendees spread across 12 time zones, we are not able replicate a 3-day physical meeting as a virtual meeting. However, we hope that the format that we have designed (plenary opening and closing sessions, with several smaller group meetings between them) will enable us to achieve everything we want from the meeting, maintain enthusiasm, be as productive as possible, and reduce the pain of a lengthy virtual process.

Using this Website

We will use this website as the place to find everything you need for the meeting: the agenda, meeting links and reports and presentations to view before the meeting, so that we can have meaningful discussions on the different aspects of IMBeR science , tasks and activities.

All updates / revisions / changes in scheduling, agenda items or other 'need-to-knows' will be included on the website as soon as they are confirmed or received.

The website will also be a live record of the meeting by documenting minutes of the meeting (in draft form), Action Items arising, written comments and questions submitted, as well as outputs from the tasks and activities conducted during the meeting.
